Since 2009, Alexis has gained public accounting experience, providing audit and accounting services for a variety of clients, with an emphasis on employee benefit plans. She regularly attends employee benefit plan and ESOP related conferences and trainings. She has experience related to audits of HUD, Rural Development and low-income housing tax credit projects, as well as cost certifications and carryovers in multiple states. She also has experience in public housing authorities and nonprofits and has worked with multiple programs including Vouchers, Section 8 Moderate-Rehab, Capital Funds Program, HOME, CDBG, Low-Rent Public Housing and Continuum of Care. She regularly attends annual continuing education courses specific to audits of housing authorities and HUD multi-family projects.

Outside of work, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys going for motorcycle rides with her husband, coaching her son's baseball team and playing golf.
