Course Description:
Accounting for fundraising events is chalk full of nuances affecting both audit and tax preparation. During our time together we will share some best practices, recognize common reporting miss-steps to avoid, highlight reporting differences between financial accounting and the Form 990 related to fundraising event revenue and expenditures and help you in gaining an understanding of what is and isn’t reported as fundraising events.
