Course Description:
Organizations that want to continue working with the U.S. Department of Defense need to begin planning now to earn the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Over the next five years, the Department of Defense will transition all of its contracts to include requirements for contractors to have some level of CMMC certification. In order to not lose contracts and revenue in the process, it is important for organizations to begin preparing now for the CMMC.

The CMMC framework and accreditation processes require contractors to undergo third-party assessments of their compliance with CMMC requirements. The purpose of these assessments is to provide assurance that companies entering contracts to provide goods and services to the Department of Defense have established appropriate safeguards for protection of data. In this webinar, we will take a look at what the CMMC is, the process to obtain it and next steps in preparing for it.

Anders has a Master of Information Systems Management from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and is Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
