Compliance Programs aren’t only required for hospitals and medical group practices; they also are relevant for LTC’s and SNF’s. This webinar will cover the essential elements of a compliance plan, OIG focused areas for Sr. Living facilities and some practical ways to address compliance concerns.

- Identify the processes around performing a Risk Assessment
- Prioritize applicable OIG initiatives that impact SNF and LTC facilities
- Analyze the internal methods for mitigating risks and addressing OIG workplan items
Amy has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare finance, leadership, reimbursement, revenue cycle, and compliance. She has worked as a Medicare auditor; director of reimbursement, revenue integrity, & regulatory review and analysis; compliance officer and consultant. Amy is the Partner-in-Charge of Revenue Cycle within healthcare consulting for Eide Bailly. She assists providers by developing solutions focusing on revenue cycle process optimization, Chargemaster development, pricing transparency strategy, compliance program assessment and compliance audit function.
Rachel Pugliano, RHIT, CHC, Senior Manager, Healthcare Consulting | Eide Bailly
Rachel has over 20 years of experience focusing on the mid-cycle of the revenue cycle which would include coding, documentation improvement and charge capture. Rachel assists our clients with the improvement of their revenue cycle functions as well as maintaining compliance with government regulations. Rachel assesses the overall health and capabilities of an organization's revenue cycle functions, develops coding compliance and documentation improvement strategies for both hospitals and medical group practices and provides internal coding compliance and charge capture assistance to improve coding and charge accuracy. Rachel is a member of AHIMA, HCCA and is on the board for the South Texas HFMA chapter serving as Programs Chair.
Jessica Aasen, BSN, RN, Manager, Healthcare Consulting | Eide Bailly
Jessica has 15 years of health care experience in the clinic, long-term care, and assisted living setting as well as experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Further knowledge includes staff training for survey preparedness, policy and procedure development and implementation, staffing analysis and development, and clinical EHR implementation. Jessica stays up to date on current regulations and changes within the healthcare industry through continuous research and involvement with industry associations, such as the American Nurses Association (ANA) and American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN). Jessica received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Minnesota State University Moorhead and is located in our Fargo, ND office.
