Course Description:
In order for a nonprofit budget to be effective and useful, it should be based on your organization’s strategy and goals. Does it have to balance? NO! During this webinar, we will walk you through several different budgeting scenarios along with highlighting best practices for turning your budgets into meaningful and effective financial tools. We will break down organization budgeting as a whole, discussing areas such as programs, administrative, fundraising and grants. We will also speak to how your budget works with recorded transactions and how to ensure they are aligned. To top it off, we will show you the technologies that can automate budgeting to take out the manual spreadsheets and also provide you with some additional ideas on what to incorporate into your overall budgeting process.
