General Healthcare webinar tile

Event Overview

Course Description:
The Employee Retention Credit (ERC) is designed to encourage employers whose businesses have been affected by COVID-19 to keep employees on payroll. The ERC is available to employers, including nonprofit organizations and certain governmental entities. The program was initially created under the CARES Act, but updates have made it more accessible and valuable. Employers can potentially access a credit of up to $7,000 per employee per qualifying quarter in 2021. The webinar will provide an overview of the law and guidance in place to help determine if you could be eligible and next steps if you are.

We will also discuss some “things you should know” about the complicated HHS Provider Relief Fund program. Reporting Period 1 is still ongoing and Phase 4 and Rural ARP applications have been submitted with many groups awaiting more payments. We will share some of the lessons learned throughout this process.
