Inspired Perspectives - Cloud Risks and Myths for 2020
Inspired Perspectives Webinar Series

Event Overview

Course Description:
If you do not have technology or applications in the cloud, then you will be left behind. Moving to the cloud is not without risk, however, and if you don’t understand how to address those risks, then the cloud move will be a disaster for you. You need to understand some basic differences in operating on your premises versus in the cloud, as well as new risks and security concerns. This presentation will help you be aware of the risks, security and myths of cloud-based computing in 2020.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss the benefits of the cloud
  • Review the risks of moving to the cloud
  • Identify the risks and myths of the cloud.

Presenters:
Matthew Solomon, CISSP, Risk Advisory Manager, Eide Bailly
Matt helps our clients understand and implement cybersecurity to reach their strategic business goals. He leads organizations through their cybersecurity strategy, helping them through planning, assessments and implementation.

Trent Leavitt, Digital Forensics & eDiscovery Manager, Eide Bailly
Since 2005, Trent has been providing computer forensics, cell phone forensics and eDiscovery solutions to his clients. While some may think of Eide Bailly as the tax and audit company, professionals like Trent round out the services the company provides. Whether he’s investigating intellectual property theft, assisting a law enforcement agency or sifting through cell phone data in a family law case, Trent’s goal is to uncover the truth for his clients.
